GK-2A Hardening Accelerating Anti-Freezing Agent

DESCRIPTION:

GK-Ais a high sulfate containing formaldehyde naphthalene sulfonate condensate superplasticizer. It offers good performance and high water reducing capacity.GK-Ais widely used in bulk concrete, hydraulic concrete, industrial flooring and RCC concrete, whereby predictable set time and low hydraulic rates are required.

CHARACTERISTICS：

GK-2A offers the following advantages:

* Water reduction capacity above 15% can be achieved;

* Chloride-free and low alkali content, anti-frost performance and water reduction capacity , and additionally no corrosion of reinforcement.

* Improves workability, as well as durability of concrete.

APPLICATION

RECOMMEND DOSAGE

Powder: 3%—5% by weight of cementitious materials

Liquid: 2%—6% by weight of cementitious materials

The most effective temperature is from 0C to -20C

USING METHOD：Please mix GK-2A directly into the fresh concrete, or mix it into gauging water first and then add into the dry mixtures. The stir time is suggested to prolong by 30m - 60s.

NOTES ON APPLICATION：

1. It should follow the casting specification.

2. Pay attention to early curing conditions.

3. GK-2A is compatible with all other GK products as following:

- GK water reducer

- GK waterproofing agent

- GK pumping agent.

If combined with the above, it is suggested to determine the performance experimentally or consult our technical services department.

4. If the temperature is lower than - 15C, the amount of antifreeze component should be increased appropriately.
