GK-A3 High-Performance Stickiness Modifying Agent

DESCRIPTION:

GK-3A is a powder formulation consisting of aluminum sulfate, sodium carbonate and a set modifying admixture. It can promote the cement fast setting and hardening, which not only results in higher early strength development, but also non affected later strength development of the concrete. It’s an ideal accelerating admixture for shotcrete and mortar. GK-3A is widely used in shotcrete projects for railway-, highway tunnels and mines, etc.

CHARACTERISTICS：

GK-3A offers the following advantages:

* 24 hour compressive strength development above 7Mpa, additionally 28 days concrete compressive strength ratio above 70% can be achieved.

APPLICATION

RECOMMEND DOSAGE

4%—6% by weight of cementitious materials

USING METHOD：Appropriate amount of water reducer, for example GK-3000, should be used in concrete additionally.

NOTES ON APPLICATION：

1. Adaptability test for cement to fix the best dosage before using.

2. Control the water to cement ratio strictly among 0.3% - 0.5%, otherwise, it will affect the result.

3. Adjust dosage to improve the accelerating and physical performance of concrete based on the different cement types, usage amount and water to cement ratio.

4. Ambient temperature will affect the setting time and early performance, so that the dosage should be adjusted according to different performance requirement and conditions.
