MV XLPE insulated power cable, either chemical method or physical method had been employed to transform the molecular structure of PE from chain into three-dimensional network, i.e. thermoplastic PE had been transformed into thermosetting XLPE. After cross-linking, the heat-mechanical properties of the cable have been greatly improved while its excellent electrical are still maintained.
The nominal conductor operating temperature of XLPE insulated power cable is 90°C which is higher than that of paper, PVC or PE insulated power cable. The cable has the advantages of simplicity in construction, lightness in weight, besides its excellent electrical, heat-mechanical and anti-chemical corrosion properties. It can also be laid with no limitation of level difference along the route.

Part Ⅲ: Construction

The type conductor is compact and the circular conductor is made up of round conductor wires. The comparison diagrams of the two conductor structures are shown above. Both meet the national standard.
Compared with circular conductor, type conductor:
1) More compact and higher compression coefficient;
2) Better waterproof performance;
3) The field intensity distribution on the conductor's surface is more uniform;
4) Can avoid the conductor shield stuck between the conductor stranded;
5) For the same specification, the diameter of the type conductor is smaller, so that the cable is more affordable.

Part Ⅵ: Products Details
1. Conductor: 99.99% purity oxygen-free copper, small resistance, more stable for long time use under full load.

The aluminum conductor is made of high quality oxygen-free copper, which has high conductivity and oxidation resistance.

2. XLPE Insulation: Silicone cross-linked material can withstand temperatures up to 90 degrees Celsius.

3. Low eccentricity: The cable is produced by automatic equipment and meets all testing indexes. The thickness of the sheath is uniform to prevent the current from breaking through the sheath and causing a fire.

4. Internally filled with anti-pull rope: Effectively prevent the cable from loosening and improve the service life of the wire.

5. Armor protection layer: increase the mechanical strength of the cable and improve the ability to release erosion.
