DESCRIPTION:
GK-4Z is a new concrete admixture designed specially for reducing the hydration heat of mass and high grade concrete. Compared with the set retarder, the most significant difference is that the retarder has no obvious effect on reducing the heat release rate and the peak temperature. However, GK-4Z can significantly reduce the heat release of cement hydration, lower the peak temperature, and significantly reduce the temperature related cracking risk of concrete structures.
USES：GK-4Z is widely used in cement-based building materials, especially for all kinds of mass concrete projects with high durability requirements.
CHARACTERISTICS：
GK-4Z offers the following advantages:
* Effectively inhibit ion of the release of hydration heat at different stages during the cement hydration process with long term effect;
* No influence on workability of concrete;
* No influence on later strength of concrete;
* Effectively reduce the cracking risk of mass concrete.

APPLICATION
RECOMMEND DOSAGE
0.5%— 1.5% by weight of cementitious materials
USING METHOD：When using, mix GK-4Z with cementitious materials, sand and aggregates first, and then add water and other admixtures after mixing evenly.
NOTES ON APPLICATION：
1. Concrete adaptability test for the most appropriate dosage.
2. Normally, within the recommended dosage range, the higher the dosage, the better the inhibition effect of GK-4Z, and the more obvious the decrease of adiabatic temperature rise. It should not be overdosed, otherwise it may affect concrete situation and setting time.
3. Fully stir, if necessary, prolong the stirring time.
4. Reduce or completely cancel the retarding component of water reducer when winter construction.
