High-voltage distribution cabinet (high-voltage cabinet) refers to electrical products with voltage levels of 3.6kV~550kV, which are used for power generation, transmission, distribution, power conversion and consumption of power systems to play the role of switching, control or protection. They mainly include high-voltage circuit breakers, high-voltage disconnectors and grounding switches, high-voltage load switches, high-voltage automatic reclosing and sectionalizers, high-voltage operating mechanisms, high-voltage explosion-proof distribution devices and high-voltage switch cabinets.
Let's take a look at the functions of various types of high-voltage distribution cabinets.
1. Power supply incoming cabinet: the main power supply incoming line (total incoming cabinet) is equipped with a main circuit breaker.
2. Outgoing cabinet: the outgoing switch cabinet of the distribution system, with lower-level electrical equipment.
3. Metering cabinet: to measure and record the amount of power supplied, in simple terms, it is an electric meter used to collect money. (PT, CT and electric meter are installed inside).
4. Busbar cabinet: When the system has two power supply lines and the two lines are mutually standby, the main busbars of the two power supplies need to be connected. The switch cabinet connecting the two sections of the busbars is called the busbar cabinet. Note: The busbar cabinet and the two incoming line cabinets are generally prohibited from being closed at the same time.
5. PT cabinet: Install metering devices and transformers.
6. Capacitor cabinet: Generally, the capacitor cabinet connected to the main bus of the system is used for centralized reactive power compensation. It is generally installed in parallel with the incoming line cabinet (the system has a PT cabinet, which should be a high-voltage system. The low-voltage system does not have a PT cabinet-the PT cabinet is equivalent to a step-down transformer, only a low-voltage current transformer is required; but the capacitor cabinet is rarely used in the high-voltage system, and the high-voltage capacitor is difficult to make. It is common to do centralized compensation on the low-voltage side).
7. Contact cabinet:
The function of the contact cabinet:
1. The contact cabinet is used to connect the rows of low-voltage cabinets brought by several transformers, that is, when a transformer fails, another one can be used to bring the other rows of low-voltage cabinets.
2. In terms of operation mode, under normal conditions, the connection is disconnected and the two transformers operate independently. When one of them fails, its main circuit breaker is disconnected and the connection switch is closed, and its load power supply is guaranteed by the other one.
8. Ring network cabinet (switch cabinet): Ring network cabinet is a commonly accepted name. It originally refers to the load switch cabinet used for ring network power supply. Now it is often used as a synonym for load switch cabinet, regardless of whether it is used for ring network power supply.
9. Battery cabinet: equivalent to battery, storing power.
Battery cabinet has two functions:
1: as a backup operating power supply.
2: as the main power supply for closing power supply. When the switch is closed, a very large current is required. The rectifier circuit cannot meet the needs of the closing coil, and the battery has the characteristic of allowing short-term large current discharge, which just makes up for the shortcomings of the rectifier circuit and enables the closing circuit to operate reliably.
10. DC panel (charging panel): convert AC power into DC power.
Components: charging cabinet - charging module - monitoring module - battery pack
11. Frequency conversion cabinet: ordinary power cabinet or control cabinet is changed from traditional drag mode to frequency conversion drag mode. In short: control cabinet that uses frequency converter to drive power device.
12. High-voltage switchgear refers to the functions of switching, control or protection in power generation, transmission, distribution, power conversion and consumption of power system. High-voltage switchgear is divided into several categories according to the voltage level of 3.6kV~550kV, including electrical products, high-voltage disconnectors and grounding switches, high-voltage load switches, high-voltage automatic reclosing and sectionalizers, high-voltage operating mechanisms, high-voltage explosion-proof distribution devices and high-voltage switchgear.
13. Middle cabinet: the full name is armored type removable middle-mounted metal-enclosed switchgear, which is divided into three layers
Upper layer: busbar and instrument room
Middle layer: circuit breaker room
Lower layer: cable room
Since the circuit breaker is in the middle layer, it is called armored type removable middle-mounted metal-enclosed switchgear, referred to as middle cabinet.
14. Power cabinet: In terms of function, it is a cabinet that provides power for rotating machines such as water pumps and generators.
