Previously, I wrote an article about insulators, I believe everyone should have some impression! How much do you know about the relevant knowledge points of "composite insulators"? Today, the editor of Hydget Power will discuss with you about "What are the characteristics of composite insulator manufacturing technology?"

The three common composite insulator manufacturing processes are as follows:
1. Umbrella material selection and processing technology
2. Core rod material selection and sheath processing technology
3. Metal break selection and end connection and sealing processing technology
What are the characteristics of composite insulator manufacturing technology?
1. Single umbrella set bonding plus flower set Baohua plus vertical glue pouring type: After the core rod is molded with a sheath, it is passed into the umbrella string bonded with room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber, and its gap is vacuum-filled with polymer filling glue, and the end connection hardware is sealed to complete the production. This technology is an early process with many processes and large dispersion. Its glue pouring technology is difficult to ensure the fullness of mass production of 220KV and above voltage levels. Due to the deflection of the core rod and the small gap for glue filling, the contact between the core rod and the inner wall of the umbrella string is prone to half-side glue channel blockage, resulting in partial lack of filling glue and insulation defects.
Second, extruded sheath and adhesive umbrella disc type: the core rod is roughened and brushed with adhesive, and then the sheath is made by the extruder. After secondary vulcanization, it is bonded with the vulcanized umbrella sheet in the umbrella machine with room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber, and the end is connected with hardware and sealed. This technology has high production efficiency. Due to the low outlet temperature of domestic extruders, the bonding between the core rod and the sheath is mainly carried out by secondary vulcanization, and the bonding surface between the loose disc and the sheath is small.
Third, segmented or one-time injection molding: the core rod is roughened and brushed with adhesive, and then injection molded in the mold by an injection molding machine. Insulators with high voltage levels are segmented after injection molding, and then completed after secondary vulcanization, hardware connection and sealing.
The core rod and the sheath of this process are thermally coupled, with good bonding effect. The internal insulation has only one layer of interface and few interfaces. It is a relatively new production technology.
