Dry-type Transformer Coil Heating

Dry-type transformers are an important power equipment and electrical appliances. 1. No-load heating is caused by the insulation of the dry-type transformer or the input voltage of the dry-type transformer is high, the insulation is broken and the coil needs to be rewinded, and the input voltage is high, the input voltage needs to be reduced or the number of coil turns is increased. 2. If the voltage is normal and the load is heated, the load is heavier, and the temperature can be reduced by reducing the load. Can not reduce the load, you can use a fan to cool down.


2. If it is a small dry-type transformer, it turns out to be normal. Check the rectifier device and load. There may be a short circuit in the rectifier tube, capacitor, etc., and the current becomes larger and heats up.


3. If it is a power dry-type transformer, the following standards and principles apply. The oil temperature at the top of the national standard (oil-immersed dry-type transformer) is generally adjusted at 85℃. If it exceeds 85℃, analyze the reasons.


4. If it is because the room temperature is too high, the load is slowly rising, etc., it can continue to operate above 85℃, but the temperature should not exceed 95℃ (at this time, the central core or winding of the dry-type transformer is 105℃, which will seriously damage the insulation. Shorten the service life or burn the dry-type transformer).


5. When the dry-type transformer is running at a temperature above 85℃, the temperature difference between the oil temperature on the top of the dry-type transformer and the room temperature should not exceed 55℃. Seriously damage the insulation, shorten the service life or burn the dry-type transformer.
