The influence of long-term overload of dry-type transformer

Dry transformers rely on air convection for natural cooling, or increase fan cooling, and are mostly used for small-capacity dry transformers such as high-rise buildings, high-speed toll stations, local lighting, and electronic circuits. Long-term overload operation of dry transformers will cause heating of the coils, gradual aging of the insulation, resulting in short-circuits between boxes, short-circuits between phases, or short-circuits to the ground, and oil decomposition; aging of the core insulation or damage to the clamping bolt bushings will cause the core to be very bad. Large eddy currents cause long-term heating of the iron core and cause insulation aging; when repairing the hanging core of a dry transformer, care should be taken to protect the coil or insulating sleeve. If scratch damage is found, it should be dealt with in time. With the sustained, healthy and rapid development of China's economy, demand continues to grow rapidly, which drives the development of the dry transformer industry.
