Obviously, when the core window can accommodate all aluminum wires, aluminum transformers have obvious cost advantages. While reducing costs, how can the quality and life of aluminum transformers be improved? First of all, the use of the world's most advanced welding technology ensures that the welding quality of aluminum is better than that of copper; secondly, 80% of the copper enameled wires produced domestically are QZ-2/130, while almost 100% of the aluminum enameled wires are QZYL-2/180 or above. As can be seen from the above table, the quality and life of the paint layer of aluminum enameled wire are far better than that of copper enameled wire. Whether aluminum transformers or copper transformers are inspected and shipped out of the factory, more than 80% of the quality problems are concentrated on short-circuit faults caused by damaged paint layers or aging and failure of paint layers. Controlling this short-circuit fault can greatly improve the overall quality of the transformer. It can be seen that aluminum is more high-quality.
Of course, we also need to understand that the aluminum transformer is slightly larger in size than the other two transformers of the same capacity. As long as the chassis can be installed and it does not affect the use, this should not be considered a disadvantage of the aluminum transformer. In short, the crudely made aluminum transformer is certainly not comparable to the copper transformer, but modern enterprises that have mastered advanced technology and processes are able to produce high-quality aluminum transformers. Such enterprises have the obligation and responsibility to actively publicize and promote the use of aluminum in transformers and eliminate the misunderstanding of aluminum transformers in society. Some domestic enterprises have already taken action and publicly promised that the normal use of aluminum transformers has a shelf life of three years, which is much longer than the one-year shelf life of copper transformers produced by some enterprises. This shows the strength and confidence of the enterprise. At the same time, transformer manufacturers should keep up with the pace of technological development and abandon old traditional thinking and prejudice. In the final analysis, the focus of using aluminum to produce transformers is not low price, but more importantly - high quality!
